Submit your presentation for the Many Faces Conference!
We are seeking presenters experienced in working with populations that face significant health, social, and economic challenges. We're looking for abstracts for 60-minute oral presentations describing your practical, tested strategies or promising practices that can be implemented in clinical or community settings, and address any of the following:
Addressing the needs of patients with, or at risk, for chronic diseases
Addressing quality of care, care redesign or operational improvements, team-based care, or care coordination and primary care integration (including medical, behavioral, and/or oral health)
Addressing the unique challenges facing safety net providers
Topics of particular interest include:
Maternal health
Health care workforce
Clinical best practices
Creative solutions to current issues
Any other topics related to community health
*Please note we are not looking merely for formal research-based projects and encourage presentations that include qualitative data. Each session is limited to 60 minutes, including time for Q & A. Workshop format and small group discussions are discouraged.The Many Faces audience is made up of experienced professionals in the fields of community health, clinical care, public health, and health policy. Please ensure that your abstract and presentation dive deep into innovations, practical solutions, evidence-based practices, quantifiable results, and key findings.
Submissions are due by Wednesday, June 4th at 11:59 PM CST.
Abstract Review Process
All abstracts are reviewed by the Many Faces Conference Content Advisory Group (CCAG-volunteers representing conference attendees) and scored based on the following criteria:
Relates to conference goals and theme
Addresses health equity and/or underserved populations
Is supported by quantitative and qualitative evaluation data
Has tangible results and clear implications for primary care
Has practical application and provides actionable steps for attendees
Is innovative or addresses an emerging concern
Involves a safety net provider such as a Community Health Center
Is sustainable and replicable
If your abstract is accepted, we will confirm your availability and ask you to sign a contractual agreement, disclosures and various forms as needed for offering continuing education credits.
